This organization relies solely on the generosity of others. People who donate their valuable time or financial assistance is what makes this project work.

Financial Donations:
Non-Profit Corporation: A corporation formed, not with the intent to realize a profit, but instead established for charitable, educational, literary, scientific or religious purposes. Non-profit corporations, by definition, are granted tax-exempt status at the federal and state level.

It is important to understand that while this corporation does not make a profit, it does have financial obligations such as Attorney fees, Accountant fees, Supplies, and much more.  Our goal is to keep these obligations at a minimum by recruiting volunteers to do the work that would normally be paid. Initially, some of the contributions are used to get the fees imposed by the IRS and Government agencies just to be legitimate.  The 501.3 [c] can take up to 2 years to be approved, costs about $300 and is very time consuming for people not used to filing such a document. Attorney help greatly reduces this time and cost. Filing to be a corporation costs $125 and requires a form as well.

Volunteering time:
Definitions of volunteer:
A person who performs a job for no pay
Unpaid: without payment; "the soup kitchen was run primarily by unpaid helpers"; "a volunteer fire department"

These wonderful people have no agenda and their only personal gain is enjoying the feeling of giving back to the community. We would not be able to offer this gift without help.

Be it financial or volunteer donations, you can't have enough of either and we can't get too big or do too much.

Lifting spirits and brightening final days is all we want to do and embodies the Hospice philosophy and vision that people should die with dignity.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact us - we would be happy to accept your help.
